DPI Chemicals is a wholly owned subsidiary of DPI Holdings Berhad, which was listed on the Malaysia Ace Market Exchange on 7 January 2019.
DPI Chemicals Sdn. Bhd. (DPIC) was established on 9 January 1991 as the trading and distribution arm of DPI group of companies. The company historically has been focusing on the distribution of aerosol products as well as the trading of thinners and solvents locally. Over the past 30 years, the company has pride itself as a provider of trusted aerosol products as well as quality thinners and solvents locally, consistently maintaining as one of the top local providers in respective markets.
DPIC’s positioning is to work hand-in-hand with the group’s key aerosol distributors to progressively expand its wallet share in the local market. Concurrently, through the trading of thinners and solvents, it enables the company to cross sell aerosol products further into various industries and vice versa. In addition, DPIC has also launched new products in the past 3 years to further expand the company’s offering. These include a new cleaning and sanitisation range starting with 2 products i.e. disinfectant and odour eliminator, as well as a paint & solvent complementing product like waterproof latex paper.
DPIC has grown from a humble trading office to an entity with a turnover of over RM20 million, managing over 400 active customer accounts and growing. DPIC has also started marketing into the industrial sector as of 2020. It plays a significant role in contributing to the overall success of the DPI Group of companies. The future of DPIC will be even more promising with the group’s expansion plans to create and initiate new products.
