Bee Choo Origin is a renowned brand for herbal hair treatment founded in Singapore by Malaysian entrepreneur, Cheah Bee Chew in 2000. The idea of a 100% synthetic chemical, preservative and additives free herbal cream that can promote hair growth was conceptualized after Cheah met a physician who advised her on Chinese herbs which have known effects that can aid in solving hair loss problems. Madam Bee Chew started experimenting on various herbal concoctions until she came up with what is known today as the Bee Choo Origin Herbal Cream.

Cheah’s business path began with a humble home-based herbal hair treatment. Through word of mouth, she had at least twenty to thirty customers a day. Sometimes the numbers would even rocket up to seventy or eighty during Sundays. Over the years, Bee Choo Origin grew from a small household to a big business industry, and from the domestic market to an international concern.

With the objective of giving back to the country and giving the best products to Malaysians, the company set up a manufacturing factory in Kota Damansara, Selangor under the name of Origin Herbal Hair Treatment Sdn. Bhd. in 2010. This is the only factory out of Singapore to meet the huge demand of the Malaysia market.
