Kunkwan Sdn. Bhd. is an international Mandarin training centre in Malaysia. It was founded
in 2013 by Mr. Kent Ng.
Kunkwan represents the number one brand for learning Mandarin as a second language, particularly serving students who do not speak Mandarin as their native language. Our key target market includes pre-school children, children and adults from Malaysia and overseas. Our key focus is teaching on speaking and listening in Mandarin as we believe that this will open many career and business opportunities to our students. Currently we conducted our classes online and offline, which allow us to reach students from all over Malaysia and overseas.
Kunkwan have 2 physical centres each occupying 10000 square feet, they are located in Johor Bahru, Johor and Sungai Besi, KL.
Kunkwan is the Chinese Proficiency Test Centre in Malaysia which fully authorized by the Confucius Institute Headquarters(Hanban). Our teaching materials are designed according to the international HSK Chinese Proficiency Test and laced with some local culture and language habits and specifically designed for non-native speakers of Mandarin. 100% of our graduates have successfully passed the HSK certificate level.
Kunkwan have established our own Learning Management System (LMS) for students to track their progress of Mandarin learning. Besides this, we have developed own Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) for better student support and lead handling. We have implemented an innovative student recruitment program by appointing student ambassadors from our existing students to recruit new students, and our student ambassadors will get incentive upon every successful recruitment.
Besides that, we have take pride to proclaim that Kunkwan is also the only Mandarin training centre in Malaysia that has obtained HRDF certification. We have continuously provided Mandarin training for business enterprises to improve students' social Mandarin proficiency. We are deeply honoured to provide Mandarin training for many companies and contribute to the needs of the business community.
We are proud to announce that Kunkwan have been awarded THE MALAYSIA BOOK OF RECORDS for having the “Largest Students Participation In A Mandarin Learning Course In A Year” during year 2022. Meanwhile, we were awarded with Asia Honesty Enterprise Award , Asia Honesty Product Award and Asia TOP 100 Brands Honesty Award in year 2022.
As of 2021, we achieve RM revenue. Kunkwan has 23.6K students from Malaysia as well as other countries. As of May 2021, we helped 15,987 students successfully receive their HSK International Certificates.
