Lomo Pictures is established in 2016. Lomo Pictures provides one-stop film production services from pre-production to post-production and distributes films from all over the world. The company is led by Aron Koh, well-known film producer in Malaysia and Ryon Lee, an expertise scriptwriter and director. Lomo Pictures has established its presence in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore.

Since 2016, Lomo Pictures has produced more than 25 films and we are the only film production company that certified with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management as we believe that quality films come from the quality team. Lomo Pictures awarded in The BrandLaurette SMEs Brand Builder of the Decade Awards in 2020 and the producer, Aron Koh was nominated in TOYM 2019 for the Top 30 Outstanding Young Malaysian Awards. On the other side, Ryon Lee has won the best scriptwriter in Golden Wau Awards in 2013 for the film ‘Nasi Lemak 2.0’ and he is also the scriptwriter for well-known Malaysia film ‘The Journey’ which was recorded the highest box office for Malaysia Chinese Films.

The number of film IPs, box office revenues and market share have placed Lomo Pictures as one of the top production companies in Malaysia. In 2017, Lomo Pictures has co-produced with China for ‘Haunted Hotel’ and the box office was surprisingly good in China and Malaysia. It is still stands out as the best box office of Malaysia film in China and bridging the relationship between both countries for more collaborations.

One of the films entitled ‘Walk With Me’ has been nominated for New York Asian Film Festival, Korea’s BIFAN International Film Festival and Bologna Asian Film Festival.

During the pandemic, Lomo Pictures has been focusing on online contents to be sold to online streaming platforms such as Disney+ and Netflix. Also, started to produce Malay films, such as ‘Zombitopia’, 'Gila Gusti' and malay blockbuster ‘Indera’ is still in the post stage.

With the re-open of economic in Malaysia, Lomo Pictures believes that the demand of both online contents and traditional cinemas will increase. Lomo Pictures will continue to produce more quality films for Malaysia as well as exporting to the world.
