Our company core business is in the wholesale and supply of fresh and processed vegetables. To ensure a stable supply, our vegetables are directly imported from other countries such as China, Thailand and Indonesia and also from farms all over Malaysia. Currently, we are supplying our products in both Malaysia and Singapore. Our clients include other wholesaler, retailer, food stalls, restaurants, markets and supermarkets. We are also selling directly to end consumer through ecommerce platform and Facebook live.
The F&B industry has been facing manpower shortage over the years and have been looking for ways to save on manpower. Our company recognized this gap and have been providing value added services to our client by processing vegetables for them. We are able to provide cut vegetables according to our customer specification. This provides greater convenient to our clients and help them save on their manpower. As we recognized that this will be the trend moving forward, we invested in machinery and technology to ensure that we are able to supply our product at the greatest efficiency and highest quality.
The past 2 years with the covid situation have been a testing time for the whole world. However, we managed to find opportunity even through this difficult period. It was the time when we first started dealing directly with end consumer. It was a decision that we had to make at that time as most of customers could not operate due to government restriction. We acted fast and through various ecommerce platform and having live steam on Facebook, we managed to create a new revenue stream when our supply business was affected. Till today, we are still operating this online business. This year, 2022, our company reached a new milestone as we shifted to a new 80,000sqf factory that is almost 3 times bigger than our previous facility. The relocation allows us to accommodate our expanding business that has been growing over the years. The new premise features bigger cold room and temperature-controlled processing and packing facilities that improves our cold chain management. It also improves the work flow and provides a better working environment for our workforce of over 200 employees.
