Pets.twentyone was started by two young partners who originally met in school and reunited later by their mutual fondness for cats. They noticed the unpleasant shopping experience in most mainstream pet stores. Smelly, unorganised and stuck with outdated payment systems. With passion and vision in mind, it was a natural progression for the duo to open up a pet store that would be different from all the others in Malaysia.

In May 2016, Pets.twentyone welcomed customers to its first outlet in Nilai. Tucked away in a neighbourhood mall - 9 Avenue, they offer a wide selection of food, treats, supplies, and accessories for cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, pet fishes, tortoises, sugar gliders, and other small animals. Pets.twentyone is established as a one-stop shop where pet owners could shop comfortably and affordably from a huge selection of brands. Their friendly staff are always around the corner to provide customers with the best advice and ensure that they bring home the perfect items.

The team’s mission has been clear from day one: enriching the lives of pet owners and their beloved pets. As of early 2022, the pet store chain has since set foot in various locations in Malaysia.

Moving forward, Pets.twentyone aims to expand continuously and become one of the biggest pet supply retail chains in Malaysia. The team will continue to source the best quality products in order to provide customers with more selection at the best value.
