Rowy Hardware Sdn. Bhd. is a leading wholesaler in the hardware industry, focusing on an extensive range of industrial water pipes, fire piping, fittings, plumbing accessories, building materials, sanitary wares, and sewerage system to the hardware retails and industrial needs. It currently carries over 1,800 items and has partnered with more than 1,500 hardware retail shops, plumbers and contractors across Malaysia. Rowy has embarked on a mission to enhance the hardware industry in Malaysia with an endeavor to provide customers with high-quality products sourced directly from reputable manufacturers.
Rowy was founded in 2012 in Balakong, Selangor with a small office. With the hard work of everyone in the company, it has expanded its premises to a 94,000 square foot warehouse in Semenyih valued at around RM 14 million. This is definitely one of the company’s remarkable achievements.
In order to smoothen the supply chain process, Rowy invested in Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. From product sourcing, supplier assessment, stock planning, logistics management to employee training, the company always ensure that the supply chain process is well-managed and strives to achieve beyond expectations. Rowy is in the midst of setting up its e-commerce platform to ease the customer buying process and bring better shopping experience to them.
Corporate Social Responsibility is an annual event of Rowy Hardware. In March 2022, Rowy Hardware held a beach cleaning exercise at Pantai Morib. This event was to raise the awareness on marine pollution and the reduction of garbage and plastics in the ocean. The event successfully collected 240kg of wastes. It was so exciting for Rowy members to have contributed to mother nature.
Rowy was awarded the Sin Chew Business Excellence Award in 2017. In 2021, Rowy was chosen as a winner of the SME®100 Awards, marched into the Top 10 among all the fast-moving companies. The company’s achievements also included The ASEAN Chinese Book of Record 2021 and The Best Intelligent Figures 2021. Nevertheless, Rowy will always remain humble and work harder towards its next milestone and target, in line with its motto: “Never give up and always achieve beyond expectations.”
