YelaoShr® was established by a team of all-female, professionally trained, experienced teachers who are devoted to education. It is a language enrichment and educare centre. Established to cultivate young minds through one-on-one lessons, YelaoShr® helps children overcome the obstacles of reading, speaking and writing in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia. The centres offer a myriad of learning programmes aimed at building a solid foundation for kids by motivating and tapping into their cognitive potential in processing information, conceptualizing ideas, perceptual skill and language learning. The centres use innovative and creative methods to help children build a strong foundation in languages and abacus mental arithmetic with the aim of developing the full potential of their brains so that they can fully capitalize on the golden period of learning.

The centres employ revolutionary techniques in guiding children on word recognition. The unique learning method helps children master 1,500 Chinese, Malay and English words to lay a solid foundation in the language.

On the Corporate Social Responsibility front, Dr David Yap founded the Angel Owl Children Education Charity Project to help children with dyslexia, slow learners, and provide financial support to underprivileged families.

To better understand customers’ needs and enhance the quality of its services, the company organizes an annual Excellent Teacher Awards by Parents Choice”. In 2019, more than 1000 nominations were received.
