From humble beginnings, Urban Spice & Seasonings Sdn. Bhd. proceeds to expand from purely offering Sarawak pepper to encompass other herbs and spices to meet the ever-growing demands of customers & consumers.
Corresponding to the expansion of our products as well as per clients’ requests, we have conscientiously broaden our scope to include retail packaging and customizing solutions to meet clients’ stringent requirements, especially in OEM supply as we are decidedly flexible in fulfilling private label products, including the making of pastes & sauces as well.
To ensure our consistency in providing high quality products all the time, we practice fair trade by purchasing it directly from the respectable farmers to ensure no deprivation by any possibility or channel. In return, farmers show their appreciation by taking good care of the pepper plantation and ultimately, we achieve a win-win situation by gaining superior quality of products that reflect our mission in providing finest quality of herbs and spices.
As each procedure is of paramount importance, stringent guidelines and regulation are imposed during the manufacturing and packaging process to safeguard the maximal standards of food safety for all our products. This includes grading and laboratory assessments conducted by the Malaysian Pepper Board to ensure that the products fulfil the high-quality requirement standards for export market. Our establishment and facilities are endorsed with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000: 2018, FSSC 22000, GMP and HACCP certified, with IAF and IAS accreditation. We took pride of being registered with the punctilious and renowned U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as well too.
We carefully curate every step from raw collection of the pepper from the farmers, to the leading edge of processing facility and systematic logistic and warehousing arrangement, until final delivery of high quality products.
