At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, CUCKOO International decided to activate disinfection to protect its service personnel. The idea grew into an unprecedented service offering for its loyal customers, leading to the birth of WonderKlean, a professional home care specialist, in May 2020.
The WonderKlean brand name is made up of 3 words – ‘Wonder’, ‘Knowledge’, and ‘Clean’, which means using knowledge or industry know-how to provide a wide range of professional home care services. Focused on creating cleaner, healthier, and safer living spaces, WonderKlean’s professional home care services are developed based on three guiding principles – professional, effective, and safe – each home care service must be delivered professionally by its trained service specialists following a stringent set of standard operating procedures (SOPs); each home care service has been carefully developed and tested for its effectiveness; and each home care service must be conducted safely and ensure that the living spaces are clean, safe, and protected from invisible threats, such as germs, bacteria, viruses, and pollutants.
Since its inception with the launch of its indoor disinfection service, WonderKlean has expanded to provide a comprehensive range of home care and cleaning services, including cleaning services for washing machine, kitchen appliances, air conditioner, and mattress. Its range of professional home care services is backed by its CUCKOO+ Service Team with over 2,000 trained service specialists stationed nationwide ready to serve anytime, anywhere.
Besides its innovative services, WonderKlean has also introduced two innovative and affordable subscription plans: the WonderKlean GOOODPLAN, a disinfection service subscription plan; and WonderKlean Flexi GOOODPLAN, a subscription plan which allows users to mix and match the home care services they need.
Despite being a relatively young brand, WonderKlean has managed to record over RM5.3 million revenue in 2021, a 130% revenue growth from 2020.
