Established in 2016, EB Frozen Food Sdn. Bhd. is an award-winning company that focuses on frozen food production. With 27 years of experience in manufacturing, EB offers up to 5 series and over 50 types of frozen food products including Hotpot, Dim Sum, Chicken, Finger Food and Japanese series. EB prides itself on always offering quality ingredients. Hence, the products are certified HALAL, GMP and FSSC 22000 to ensure the safe consumption of its consumers.
In recent years, the growing appetite for easy home-cooked meals has bolstered the growth of the frozen food industry. Seizing the opportunity, EB exported to 32 countries including Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Australasia and North America. To offer more product variety to consumers, EB has expanded to its third plant in 2021 in Kulim Hi-Tech Park, with a total of 871,200 sq. ft, equipped with advanced machinery and a 5-storey office building carrying over 600 staff.
EB aims to push the boundaries by developing new products. Hence, the R&D team is the driving factor behind its success. EB's innovation has successfully opened consumers’ eyes to an assortment of great products through the frozen food aisle. As a sneak peek, Western Series, featuring Alaska Pollock will be introduced to the market.
EB also focuses on digital marketing by fully utilizing social media, advertising and live-streaming. Consumers may spot its presence on social media campaigns such as ‘Temui Citarasa Malaysia’ and ‘Raya Bersama, Ceria Berganda’ and ‘It’s Popping Good’. Now, EB is also available on major e-commerce platforms such as Food Panda, Shopee and Lazada.
EB has organized various CSR programs by collaborating with several non-profit organizations. For instance, Singgah Sinar 1 Meter Frontliner 2021, Feeding the Hunger and The Hunger Relief. EB has also participated in several international and domestic events or trade shows such as Malaysia International Food & Beverage Expo 2022 (MIFB) and Malaysia International Retail & Franchise Expo 2022 (MIRF) to engage with its consumers while looking for potential traders to collaborate with in the future.
Moving forward, EB will not only expand its business network in Malaysia but globally by joining hands with big food chains as well as collaborating with QSR. With this, EB could deliver more quality products and services to consumers around the globe. Recognising this, EB is ramping up for the British Retail Consortium standard (BRC) recognition, which could drive EB to expand to greater markets while offering exceptional quality products.
