Since its establishment in 2002, Absotech has transformed from a traditional bulk trading/distribution company with inventories into a dynamic and innovative force in the chemical distribution industry. Our humble beginnings were rooted in the world of bulk trading, where modest profit margins were the norm. However, what set us apart even then was our ability to leverage our industry expertise and nurture long-lasting customer relationships. We harnessed this advantage to provide our clients with a unique form of supply stability, particularly during turbulent market conditions, such as price fluctuations.
In 2008, we embarked on a transformative path by developing proprietary blend formulations. These formulations were specifically designed for use in various industries, including oil and gas, construction, mining, and agriculture. This strategic shift marked a pivotal moment in our company's history. Today, our proprietary blend business not only contributes significantly to our revenue but also forms the central focus of our future endeavours.

In addition to our commitment to sustainability through chemical innovation, we have another environmentally friendly business unit that focuses on the distribution of waste bins from Plastic Omnium and Sulo. This venture was established in 2009 and plays a crucial role in supporting waste collectors who operate under the regulatory oversight of the National Environment Agency, which awards the tender for Public Waste Collection
Our pursuit of growth is relentless, guided by strategic diversification and valuable partnerships. In addition to our core business, in 2018, Absotech operated the LNG affiliate, AbsoEnergy, through a partnership with Pavilion Energy. We took bold steps in showcasing the potential of small-scale LNG bunkering. Notably, we became the first company in Singapore to use a 40-footer T75 ISO tank filled with LNG to supply China's Sinochem, from Jurong Port, a testimony to our commitment to innovation and growth. This project is part of our continuous development efforts, and we are working tirelessly to supplement our growth in the small-scale LNG industry.
With a focus on Asia Pacific, we've honed in on a region known for its efficient supply chain. This region remains the primary hub of our global expansion strategy. However, our pursuit of global expansion mirrors our dedication to serving a broader customer base and staying at the forefront of industry developments. We're planning a second operation outside Singapore and we are in the process of establishing a branch in Johor, Malaysia, further supporting our global expansion strategy
