As opposed to other microcontrollers, Ambiq has commercialized subthreshold power in their integrated circuit designs, resulting in a 10X reduction in energy consumption.

In June 2023, Ambiq announced their plans to expand their technology design center in Singapore to increase their product development, improve circuit design capabilities for next-generation semiconductor solutions, and strengthen Ambiq’s global presence.

Ambiq is also harnessing the wave of AI innovation with its neuralSPOT software development kit. This allows AI application developers to rapidly implement popular AI models such as ECG monitoring and noise reduction features with the Apollo family of systems-on-chip (SoC).
