With over three decades of heritage, Chew’s Agriculture is one of Singapore’s most trusted producers of fresh eggs. Their range of nutritious Designer Eggs, from Kampong Eggs to King Sized Eggs to Omega-3 Eggs and Cage-Free Eggs, are well-loved for their unbeatable freshness and quality. They are a staple food of many families, through generations. Chew’s current customer base includes the Singapore and Hong Kong markets. Some of their more notable local customers include NTUC FairPrice, Sheng Siong, Cold Storage, Giant, Pandamart, Redmart, Amazon Fresh, cafes, restaurants, global fast-food chains and various major international hotel chains.

All Chew’s eggs are produced on their brand new 20-hectare farm in Singapore, which features the latest technology in poultry farming. Climate-controlled poultry houses and fully automated rearing systems help ensure a safe and suitable environment for their hens. The birds consume only 100 per cent plant-based feed free of antibiotics and hormones, which is manufactured in-house. Chew’s Agriculture is also fully equipped with state-of-the-art processing facility and follow stringent practices to select only the best eggs for consumers. Being local, and hence having a lower carbon footprint, Chew’s Agriculture is also the better option for the environment. As a testament of Chew’s efforts and commitment, their farm is 2-star Good Agricultural Practice (GAP) certified by Singapore Food Agency (SFA). Chew’s Agriculture is also the first and only producer of Certified Humane® cage-free eggs in Singapore.

Chew’s Agriculture is also a proud supporter of Singapore’s 30 by 30 food security goal. Singapore has set a target of producing 30 percent of the island nation’s nutritional needs by the year 2030, and Chew’s aspires to play a contributing part in this endeavour. The company has scaled up its daily production and is well on their way to producing one million eggs for Singapore every day. In keeping to their mission to provide fresh and nutritious produce cultivated in an eco-conscious and sustainable manner, Chew’s is working towards becoming a net zero-emission farm running on green renewable energy. The facility is currently equipped with a waste-to-energy plant and Chew’s is embarking on projects to harvest the solar energy and rainwater available at their location. With these initiatives, the company hopes to showcase the possibility of having a carbon neutral or even carbon negative farm.
