TSA Group Berhad is an established industrial hardware solutions provider with a track record dating back to 1993. The Group is principally engaged in the trading, manufacturing and processing of stainless steel and other metal products, serving a broad customer base across Malaysia, Singapore and international markets.
Over more than three decades, TSA Group has developed extensive experience and expertise in industrial hardware solutions. Its operations encompass the trading of a wide range of stainless steel and other metal products, the in-house manufacturing of welded ornamental stainless steel pipes, and value-added processing services for stainless steel products.
With approximately 18,500 stock keeping units (SKUs), established distribution and warehouse facilities, in-house manufacturing capabilities and a diversified customer base, the Group has positioned itself as a one-stop total industrial hardware solutions supplier.
Over more than three decades, TSA Group has developed extensive experience and expertise in industrial hardware solutions. Its operations encompass the trading of a wide range of stainless steel and other metal products, the in-house manufacturing of welded ornamental stainless steel pipes, and value-added processing services for stainless steel products.
With approximately 18,500 stock keeping units (SKUs), established distribution and warehouse facilities, in-house manufacturing capabilities and a diversified customer base, the Group has positioned itself as a one-stop total industrial hardware solutions supplier.
TSA Group’s history began with the incorporation of TSA Industries on 4 November 1993. The company commenced operations in Taman Pertama, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, principally trading stainless steel and other metal products, hardware and related products.
As the business expanded, operations were relocated to Taman Sungai Besi Indah in Balakong, Selangor in 1995. In 2000, TSA Industries acquired a light industrial unit at Taman Industri Selesa Jaya, Balakong, and subsequently moved its operations there.
A significant milestone was reached in 2008, when TSA Industries relocated its head office and warehouse operations to its current main operational facility, situated on approximately five acres of land. In April that year, the Group commenced manufacturing round, square and rectangular stainless steel pipes and introduced its proprietary “TSS” brand for its manufactured stainless steel pipes.
The Group expanded internationally in 2010 through the incorporation of TSA Singapore and recorded its first export sales, comprising its in-house manufactured stainless steel pipes. Its manufacturing capabilities were subsequently strengthened through industry certifications.
In 2019, TSA Industries obtained a SIRIM Product Certification Licence covering specified grades, types and sizes of its manufactured stainless steel pipes. In September 2021, it also obtained Certification of Standards Compliance – Building Materials from CIDB for welded stainless steel mechanical tubing.
TSA Group Berhad was incorporated on 18 March 2022 as an investment holding company and subsequently converted into a public limited company on 1 November 2022. In October 2022, TSA Industries completed the acquisition of approximately 435,615 sq. ft. of leasehold land in Sungai Lalang, Semenyih, Selangor, which was earmarked for the establishment of manufacturing premises for a stainless steel cold rolling line.
In March 2023, Asia Inox was incorporated with the proposed principal activity of producing and processing cold-rolled stainless steel coils, as well as distributing and selling these products in Malaysia and export markets.

Its manufacturing operations focus on welded ornamental stainless steel pipes, including round stainless steel tubes, square stainless steel tubes and rectangular hollow stainless steel tubes. These products are marketed under the Group’s proprietary “TSS” brand.
In-house manufacturing gives TSA Group greater control over product quality while providing flexibility to produce selected pipe types and sizes according to customer requirements. The TSS brand also enables the Group to differentiate its products and strengthen customer recognition, supporting repeat purchases, customer loyalty and referrals.
Complementing its trading and manufacturing operations, TSA Group provides processing and value-added services for stainless steel plates and bars. Together, these capabilities allow the Group to offer a more comprehensive range of industrial hardware solutions while serving a broader spectrum of customer requirements.
The breadth of its product portfolio remains one of TSA Group’s key strengths. Its approximately 18,500 SKUs include stainless steel plates, bars, coils, pipes, channels and angles, as well as copper bars and other metal products. This extensive range supports the Group’s positioning as a one-stop supplier and allows customers to consolidate their sourcing requirements through a single provider.
TSA Group has established market coverage in Malaysia and Singapore, supported by its manufacturing operations, sales offices and warehouse facilities. Its international reach also extends to Thailand and other overseas markets.
The Group primarily distributes its products directly to end-user customers, including fabricators, construction companies, parts manufacturers and plant maintenance companies, while also serving customers indirectly through hardware wholesalers and retailers.
The Group’s more than three decades of industry experience has also enabled it to develop longstanding customer relationships. Having commenced stainless steel pipe manufacturing in 2008, its manufacturing operations have themselves built a substantial operating history. As at FYE2022, three of its top five customers had been dealing with the Group for 10 years or more, reflecting the continuity of its customer relationships.
TSA Group’s established industry experience, extensive product portfolio, manufacturing capabilities and market reach provide a strong foundation for its operations. Its approximately 18,500 SKUs enable it to meet diverse customer requirements, while its in-house manufacturing capabilities provide greater control over quality and flexibility in product specifications.
The proprietary TSS brand further differentiates its manufactured products, while its large and diversified customer base reduces reliance on individual customers. Its established presence in Malaysia and Singapore, together with sales to other international markets, also provides a platform for continued geographical expansion.
Looking ahead, TSA Group’s growth strategy is centred on expanding its manufacturing capacity and capabilities. A key initiative is the development of an additional manufacturing facility on its leasehold land in Semenyih, Selangor, where the Group intends to expand into stainless steel cold rolling through the establishment of a cold rolling line.
According to the Group’s corporate presentation, the construction of the new manufacturing premises is intended to be funded through a combination of IPO proceeds, bank borrowings and internally generated funds.
The planned expansion is expected to broaden TSA Group’s manufacturing capabilities beyond its existing stainless steel pipe operations and support its strategy of increasing participation across the stainless steel value chain. By strengthening its manufacturing base alongside its established trading and processing operations, the Group aims to further develop its integrated industrial hardware solutions platform.
